Objectifs
This course’s objective is to introduce the field of behavioral economics, and subsequently experimental economics, to understand how economists grasped evidence and constructs from other disciplines (e.g., psychology) to refine and question the idea of the Homo oeconomicus.
The objective is to provide an overview of how behavior is incorporated in economic analyses, how economists can measure the role of behavior in economic decisions, and how different behavioral phenomena (e.g., emotions) can distort predicted economic preferences.
