Tourist behaviour (GEST802_MDTCY)

Présentation

The aim of this lecture is to give students a complete understanding of the behaviour specifically in the context of tourism consumption. A large part of the lecture will be devoted to analysing what are the conditions, in contemporary societies, that explain both the needs and the types of demand towards tourism consumption. The lecture will focuss on the components of motivation and to which extent market segmentation can bring a finer analysis of tourism demand

The last part of the lecture will focus on the experience itself, how consumers experience tourism and what are the respective roles of service quality and satisaction. 

Objectifs
